This meta-analysis is the first large scale, independent study that demonstrates the superiority of the pain relief therapy provided by ON-Q® as compared to narcotics (the current standard of care). Published in the highly-regarded and peer-reviewed Journal of American College of Surgeons (JACS), this review cites 44 studies and includes 2,141 patients across multiple surgical specialties. Only randomized controlled clinical trials (RCT) were included.
