LAKE FOREST, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 2004-- I-Flow To Be Awarded Deloitte Technology's Fast 50 Recognition During October 4th Awards Ceremony I-Flow Corporation (NASDAQ: IFLO) today announced that it will be named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Orange County, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology and medical technology companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche, LLP, one of the country's leading professional services firms. Scheduled to be announced on October 4, 2004, Technology Fast 50 rankings are based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over five years--from 1999 to 2003. "We are very pleased to be named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Program again as this honor highlights our incredible growth over the past five years," said Donald M. Earhart, president and CEO of I-Flow Corporation. "It is clear that our strong clinical data combined with our growing sales force and an aggressive marketing effort is helping the company gain critical physician acceptance for our flagship ON-Q(R) brand, resulting in significant revenue growth," Earhart concluded. To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1999 and $1,000,000 in 2003, must be public or private companies headquartered in North America, and be a "technology company", defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues (using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify); and/or devoting a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology. "To make the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 (or the Technology Fast 50 Rising Star category), companies within Orange County must have had tremendous revenue growth from 1999-2003 (or 2001-2003 for Rising Stars). Deloitte applauds I-Flow Corporation for having the long-term vision to develop medical technologies that change the way we live," said Mark Miskinis, Deloitte partner, Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice, Costa Mesa. Winners of the 19 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing technology companies.
